Role Overview
As a Marketing Graduate, you will support Verto’s marketing team in executing campaigns, analysing performance data, and driving brand awareness. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international fintech environment and gain hands-on experience across various marketing functions.
A Day in the Life
As a Marketing Graduate at Verto, your day might start by checking in on our social media channels, engaging with recent comments, and scheduling posts for the day. Next, you’ll join a team meeting to discuss the progress of our latest campaign, where you may share insights from your competitor research. Mid-morning, you might work on drafting an email newsletter or refining blog content to support an upcoming product launch. After lunch, you'll analyze performance data from recent campaigns, identifying trends and suggesting improvements, before diving into CRM updates to support an outreach initiative. Finally, you may end the day brainstorming ideas for an upcoming webinar targeted at businesses in emerging markets, working closely with our content and product teams. Each day is varied, dynamic, and full of learning opportunities in the ever-evolving fintech landscape.
Key Responsibilities
* Campaign Support: Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and content marketing.
* Content Creation: Develop and manage marketing materials, including blog posts, social media updates, and email newsletters, to support product launches and brand awareness efforts.
* Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential markets to support strategic decision-making.
* Performance Analysis: Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns, identifying areas for improvement.
* CRM Management: Help manage the CRM system and collaborate on email marketing initiatives, contributing to customer retention and acquisition strategies.
* Social Media Management: Support the day-to-day management of Verto’s social media accounts, engaging with followers, monitoring comments, and creating posts.
* Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating events, webinars, and other marketing initiatives targeting businesses in emerging markets.
Skills & Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
* Experience: Previous internship or experience in a marketing role is a plus, but not required.
* Skills:
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with marketing tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and social media management tools.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
o Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
o Understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation.
* Passion: Interest in fintech, emerging markets, and innovative financial solutions.
