The Role: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in improving manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring the smooth operation of cutting-edge production lines. You will work closely with various teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that optimise both performance and cost-efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Lead initiatives aimed at reducing waste, increasing productivity, and driving cost savings across the manufacturing process.
Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements through Lean, Six Sigma, or other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Support the design and implementation of new manufacturing processes, technologies, and equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient introduction of new products or processes.
Analyse manufacturing data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Champion the principles of Lean manufacturing and contribute to the development of strategies that optimise plant efficiency.
Lead or support troubleshooting activities for production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure manufacturing goals are achieved.
Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement across the organisation, helping teams adopt new practices and drive change.
Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
What Were Looking For: A passion for continuous improvement, cost reduction, and waste minimisation in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge and practical experience of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement techniques.

The ability to analyse complex manufacturing processes and develop effective solutions.
A strong understanding of manufacturing systems and process flows.

Qualifications & Experience: Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
Familiarity with Lean and Continuous Improvement tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.
Knowledge of manufacturing systems, process design, and equipment.
Strong IT skills, particularly in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
Experience with CAD, CAM, or similar design software is advantageous.
