A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Supply Demand Manager to join our successful team at LDH, based at our state of the art distribution facility in Sproughton, Ipswich. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain and Customer Service, the Supply Demand Manager is responsible for the complete order cycle of stock replenishment including forecasting, procurement, scheduling and shipping as well as maintaining optimum warehouse stockholding for each product. Job Summary: Weekly review of sales data and the requirement to identify accurate forecast including promotional activity Provide weekly stock report for area of responsibility Maintaining a rolling order schedule of product from suppliers Maintaining a rolling vessel nomination schedule for each shipping location Daily liaison with international suppliers to ensure receipt and timely delivery of orders Daily liaison with Supply Chain Administrator to understand correct delivery of orders by international shipping agents and UK clearing agents. Daily management of Supply Chain Administrator whose responsibility is to maintain accurate shipping status for each order and monitoring of shipping schedules. Responsible for ensuring purchase contracts are ordered correctly and are reconciled to supplier stock and sales contracts. Communication of issues and opportunities to internal stakeholders. Escalation of issues to senior colleagues. Developing and maintaining close working relationships with Supply Chain and Customer Supply Chain Team, Vendors and Suppliers as well as Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders and Hauliers. ? Key Accountabilities: Forecasting Material Requirements Planning Raising / Management of Purchase Orders Stock / Supply Chain Reporting Issue resolution / escalation Management of Supply Chain Administrator ? The ideal candidate will be educated to an A level equivalent and will have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office, specifically Outlook and Excel. Knowledge of SAP would be desirable. ? Time spent in a similar role would be advantageous with knowledge and experience of logistics and transport, supply chain and the food industry. ? An ability to swiftly gain a thorough understanding of new and complex issues with a quality approach and attention to detail with strong administration skills is a necessity. ? What we offer: ?
