Primary Complex Needs Teacher - September 2025
Are you a specialist SEND Teacher seeking an exciting opportunity teaching a KS1/KS2 group in a SEND school setting?
Do you want to work in a new and expanding purpose-built SEND school that offers extensive CPD and takes staff wellbeing very seriously?
About the SEND Teacher role:
The successful SEND Teacher will prepare, plan, and deliver lessons to a small group of KS1 and KS2 pupils who are pre-verbal with SLD and PMLD needs. The group is focused on sensory learning - colours, music, etc. There are also pupils with SLCN (Speech, Language, and Communication Needs) within this class.
The ideal SEND Teacher:
The ideal SEND Teacher will be driven to succeed and teach children with special educational needs. SEND school experience is desirable, but equally, a strong EYFS teacher would be able to take their first steps into a SEND school due to the experienced support staff and supportive teaching and leadership team.
The wonderful SEND school:
* Well-resourced primary SEND school
* Potential for temp to perm depending on September numbers
* Excellent facilities including hydrotherapy pool and brilliant sensory rooms
* High staff retention
* Developing integrated therapeutic educational model
