Senior Servicenow Architect Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Servicenow Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform, including implementation, administration, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and administer ServiceNow modules, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
* Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, leveraging expertise in Platform Administration, Design, and Development.
* Perform minor and major enhancements to client ServiceNow instances, including UI changes, system properties, foundation data, and workflows.
* Collaborate with clients to facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules in ServiceNow.
* Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions as a trusted advisor.
* Assist clients with ServiceNow upgrade administration, ensuring timely and seamless upgrades with minimal disruption to IT operations.
* Maintain reliable and reproducible development/production environments through effective tool configuration and process implementation.
* Ensure consistency across development, testing, and production environments.
* Experience analyzing issues, estimating efforts, and proposing solutions or prototyping.
* Rigorously follow ServiceNow development best practices.
* Utilize web services, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP for system integration.
* Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
* Possess deep functional and technical knowledge of ServiceNow, with demonstrable experience navigating, administering, configuring, and scripting.
* Familiarity with ITIL concepts and IT Service Management practices (ITIL v3 certification a plus).
* Understanding of Agile based approach to software development (SCRUM experience a plus).
* Excellent communication skills via verbal and non-verbal methods.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
* Organizing and prioritizing development effort, interfacing with vendors and management, and coordinating additional administrators when necessary.
* Consider dependencies, relationships, and integration points for proper solution integration with other systems.
* Effectively manage and execute high-level tasks assigned via 'stories'.
* Assist junior analysts throughout project lifecycles.
* Communicate professionally and effectively with business professionals and clients daily.
Secondary Skills:
* Extensive experience in ServiceNow (ITSM, ITAM, CSM, ITOM, IRM, CMDB)
* Understanding of the project delivery lifecycle and processes.
* Practical experience creating or modifying relevant CSM, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, IRM, toolset components.
* Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with all levels of staff.
* Consultative and analytical approach.
* Real-world exposure to cloud technologies and S-a-a-S.
* Proven experience implementing ITSM tools; demonstrated experience with Incident Management, Service Request Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, and other ITIL process areas.
