What you will do
You will be responsible for the efficient and safe transportation, delivery, and offloading of goods to specified locations nationwide. This may involve nights away (predominantly Mon/Tues/Wed). Thursday is for more localized deliveries, and Friday is for housekeeping, route review, and loading vehicles for the following week. Duties include, but are not limited to, multi-drop deliveries, route planning, and loading of vehicles. The successful candidate will have the ability to build relationships with customers and communicate regarding ETAs or potential delivery issues. The position requires you to deal with any delivery issues while with the customer.
Skills and Experience required
1. Clean Driver's License, minimum of a Category C
2. A Valid CPC Card
3. Digital Driver's Tachograph Card
4. A Forklift License would be an advantage but is not essential to the role
5. Experience with Customer Service
6. A can-do attitude towards work
7. A problem solver
8. Ability to keep calm under pressure
