About The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our established team as a B2B Marketing Assistant.
Within this exciting role, you’ll support the effective and efficient running of the B2B Marketing team and assist in the design and delivery of marketing campaigns to financial advisers.
We offer hybrid working, with 40% of your time based at our Bournemouth office.
This role is offered on a fixed-term basis, until the end of 2025.
Key responsibilities
* Managing a suite of product marketing collateral (literature and web content changes) through workflows and governance processes.
* Ensuring compliance standards are followed for all marketing, communications and product materials, including sign-off processes and content reviews.
* Managing the Savings & Retirement Marketing mailbox, responding to enquiries and liaising with colleagues and stakeholders where necessary.
* Providing diary management for the team, coordinating relevant internal and external diaries and booking meeting rooms accordingly.
* Assisting with drafting and planning team internal newsletter.
* Assisting with the coordination of our annual events programme including roadshows and webinars.
* Budget tracking, raising purchase orders and spend management.
* Drafting and planning content for social media accounts, monitoring success and engagement.
* Working effectively with all relevant internal (including product areas and sales) and external parties (including agencies, networks, industry bodies, media owners and affiliates), for the purposes of delivering campaigns and communications activity.
* Acting as a brand and tone of voice champion for the wider S&R Proposition Marketing team, proofing copy and materials to ensure content is accurate, consistent and in line with guidelines.
* Collaborating effectively with the Brand Design and Digital teams.
* Monitoring competitor marketing activity to identify strengths, opportunities and items for team awareness.
About You
Our ideal candidate will…
* Utilise strong organisation skills to help with the delivery of marketing activity, campaigns and messaging, ensuring maximum impact and consistency across all marketing outputs.
* Hold or be working towards an appropriate marketing qualification (e.g. marketing degree or ACIM). Applied marketing experience and/or IFA, life and pensions experience is desirable.
* Strong literacy and creative writing skills, plus attention to detail are essential abilities.
* Be self-motivated, with the ability to think laterally and be a good problem-solver.
* Effectively manage time, tasks and costs across multiple campaigns/assets.
* Be able to work across the ‘marketing mix’, writing copy for online and offline campaigns.
* Possess excellent communication skills.
* Be able to work in a pressured and changing environment.
* Demonstrate strong IT literacy to enable use of in-house document management and purchase order systems, plus good Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint and Excel.
