Due to Chapter One's continued business growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tender Bid Writer / Market Researcher to join the brilliant Sales Team. You will join a growing team that is making a real impact on the success of Chapter One.
What you will be doing
Working closely with Chapter One's Sales Director, Managing Director, and Bid Designer. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who is highly organised, self-driven, and can work to a tender timetable and deadlines.
Duties are as follows.
* Development and ownership of individual Bid Plans, ensuring a high-quality bid is delivered on time and to the client's requirements.
* Regularly review and update providing reports on progress and issues as required.
* Proven ability to write clear and concise responses.
* Preparation of tender documents and collation of information required.
* Validated and maintain the bid library to ensure relevancy of content.
* Supporting all elements of the bid process under the direction of the Sales Director
* Market research and analysis to investigate market activities; clients; competitors; assess market trends, analyse published data and statistics, and recommend to management effective marketing strategy.
* Effectively communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders up to senior level.
* Assist target list management / development – where necessary, running campaigns and exploring new markets
What we are looking for
* It is essential you have excellent written English.
* To gather information on the independent school market, contacting clients to gain an understand of their requirements, and passing this information on to the Sales Director.
* Responsible for ensuring tender deadlines are met.
* You will need to be confident on the phone with clients.
* The ability to write bespoke tender responses for clients.
* Marketing, sales, content or bid writing background would be ideal.
* No experience in the sector required, training at our head office in Woking will be provided.

* A natural at taking a proactive approach and using your initiative to solve problems.
