Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Mobile Mechanical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and repair installations such as ventilation systems (AHU, Intake/extract), heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs, etc.), and water system assets, such as booster sets, calorifiers, and water heaters.
2. Deliver the highest level of service for the client, answering queries and reporting any defects.
3. Keep the client informed of site activities at the time of the service visit.
4. Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
5. Keep a log of inspection reports and remedial work.
To be successful for this Mobile Mechanical Engineer role you must have:
1. Experience within a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment.
2. Relevant qualifications required e.g. C&G Level 3 or Level 5 / NVQ or HNC equivalent.
3. Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working.
4. A valid full driving licence and be IT literate.
5. The capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces, as well as a willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota.
6. Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to use a mobile device.
