A beautiful, privately owned, boutique hotel based in Lymington is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to run a section in the kitchen at this lovely boutique hotel that cooks to Rosette Rated levels. The role will involve running a section either for starters/sauce or mains. This position offers the opportunity to work under a talented Executive Chef and to progress your career in a great kitchen using fresh, local produce.

Location: Lymington
Hours: 5/7 days, 45 hours, all overtime paid, shifts will be 11am-9pm with an hour break.
Salary: £29k plus £3-4k in tips
Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Chef de Partie will Include:
1. To ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect to the set standards
2. To support the manager in maintaining, ordering, and controlling food stocks within a budget
3. To be responsible for maintaining up-to-date product and menu knowledge
4. To maintain a high standard of food preparation and presentation
5. Ensuring portion and quality control
6. To comply with health and safety and food safety legislations
What You Need To Be a Successful Chef:
1. Previous Experience as a Chef de Partie - preferably in hotel/gastro pub and to a rosette level
2. NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required
3. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
