Job DescriptionQHSE ManagerOverview:We are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) activities within our organization. This hands-on position reports directly to the Technical Director and plays a key role in managing QHSE practices across multiple sites.

Reporting Structure:This role reports to the Technical Director and directly supervises one Quality Assurance Technician.
Key Responsibilities:Health & Safety:
Ensure all risk assessments are up-to-date and implement corrective actions as needed.Conduct and document internal and external audits.Investigate incidents, reporting findings and implementing corrective actions.Ensure that fire evacuation and emergency procedures are implemented, with documentation up to date.Manage daily H&S housekeeping, including First Aid room maintenance.Provide training and support on emergency-related procedures.Quality Assurance:
Develop and maintain an existing quality system to ISO9001 standards and other recognized benchmarks.Oversee internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with quality standards.Maintain a comprehensive library of work instructions, procedures, and product QC records.Ensure calibration logs are maintained and up-to-date.Monitor and analyze data on quality-related activities, producing reports with actionable insights for senior management.Implement corrective actions for any quality issues and follow up to ensure issues are resolved.Chair QMS and QA/QC meetings and liaise with suppliers regarding quality matters.Environmental:
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and implement necessary strategies.Maintain ISO14001 environmental management system across all sites.Implement and monitor sustainability initiatives, including carbon management processes.General:
Manage the implementation of all QHSE-related policies and procedures.Chair QHSE meetings and provide leadership in promoting best practices.Act as a QHSE champion, motivating personnel and driving improvements.Read technical drawings and conduct product inspections for conformance.Additional Responsibilities:
This list is not exhaustive, and the role may require additional tasks or changes based on the organization's needs.Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:Qualified to NEBOSH or IOSH general certificate (level 3) or equivalent with strong legal and technical knowledge.At least 5 years of relevant experience in QHSE, ideally in a similar manufacturing environment.Minimum of 2 years of man-management experience, including motivating and setting priorities for a team.Ideally, first aid trained and experienced in training employees on best practices.Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to balance technical responsibilities with hands-on involvement.Full driving license.TPBN1_UKTJ
