We are seeking a caring, resilient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Liverpool, supporting children with a range of special educational needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH. You'll work closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver personalised, high-quality support that truly makes a difference. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs across Key Stages. Assist in the delivery of tailored teaching activities and interventions. Promote a safe, structured, and positive learning environment. Support pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and social skills. Contribute to the development and review of individual education plans (IEPs and EHCPs). The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in a school or care setting). A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach to support learning and behaviour. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A willingness to undertake relevant training (e.g., Team Teach, safeguarding, autism awareness).
