You’ll learn about the job, on the job, whilst we support you through further studies, so you’ll gain qualifications as well as work experience and skills. As an Appprentice Plumber you will be responsible for: To attend college as and when required to successfully fulfill the curriculum of a apprenticeship within the allotted time scale. To ensuring all apprenticeship log books and other relevant documents are completed on time and to the highest standards. To ensure any issues / problems raised at college or on site are reported to your appointed mentor To work with tradesmen in an effective, safe and helpful manner To undertake tasks as directed by relevant trades people. Co-operate with colleagues, Supervisors and Management Identify any relevant training needs to the Operations /Site Manager Complete paperwork on tasks complete and a weekly timesheet To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment and tools. To operate always with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of Robertson Construction. To report all accidents and incidents as appropriate. To provide support and assistance to other Robertson personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services To maintain an awareness of Robertson policies, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance service. Who we're looking for: As an Apprentice we understand this may be one of your first roles so we’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in plumbing, some level of experience would be great but if you can demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach with excellent written and verbal communications skills this could be the role for you. You’ll also need to demonstrate your dedication and ambition to develop with the role which we can support you.
