Cumberland Council is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated manager for our Residential care Home in Maryport.
About the role
As our registered manager, you will have the ability and experience to lead, motivate, and develop your staff team to provide safe, effective, and responsive person-centred care to the residents.
You will also be able to provide a residential service that meets the required statutory and regulatory standards, including health and safety & people management, and have the ability to achieve at least a good CQC inspection rating for the residential home.
You will have the necessary financial management experience and skills to maximise available resources and provide the residential service within a defined budget.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate for this role will have significant experience working within a registered care setting, ideally in a residential setting for older adults. They will also have excellent organisational and communication skills.
We are looking for applicants with advanced knowledge of CQC requirements and the ability to work in a fast-moving and flexible work environment, with an NVQ 4 in management or equivalent experience.
This could be an exciting opportunity for someone who has significant supervisory or management experience and is looking to take that next step in their career.
