General Admin / Reprographics Officer Actual Salary £19,112 - £20,042 per annum (Grade 6, SCP 6-9) Due to a change in how we manage things, this is a great opportunity for a well-organised, pro-active general Admin Officer to join our friendly and experienced Admin team, supporting all aspects of school administration including reprographics and the library. These details should be read in conjunction with the XS 8.4 Job Description. The successful candidate should demonstrate discretion, empathy, good personal organisation and time-keeping, and excellent communication skills. Previous experience of working in a school environment, including a knowledge of all the usual MS Office suite of applications, SIMs and reprographics, would be an advantage, but applications are welcomed from all individuals who are team players and can demonstrate good interpersonal skills, good keyboard skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn. In addition to general administration, key tasks will include: Photocopying for staff Overseeing our reprographics machines, ensuring their smooth running and contacting / liaising with reprographics engineers as necessary Monitoring and maintaining paper stocks Assisting students checking out and returning library books Providing general administrative support as required (e.g. with work experience etc) Liaising with students, staff, parents/carers and visitors as necessary. Working hours are 8.30am-3.30pm (32½ hrs/wk), 38.4 weeks per year, term time only, including all staff training days. (Part-time or job share may be possible) All leave must be taken during the school holidays. The postholder should be happy interacting with staff and students, prioritising their own workload, and will often be required to work without direct supervision, although this will be present when necessary.
