Our Finance Department, based at our brand new D4P Media offices, work on a group of company accounts owned by the Directors which cover a variety of business sectors including not only the Print & Design sector but also Distribution & Workwear, Property Rental and the Entertainment Industry.
As Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial activities of the company’s Accounts department. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with cash management, banking operations, cash flow reporting and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work closely with the Directors, the Financial Controller and other finance team members to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company’s financial resources.
Main responsibilities & duties:
* Prepare short term cash flow forecast to give the business a good view of future liquidity and cash position. Analyse and explain past week variation to actuals
* Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting in support of business initiatives and performance for group companies
* Effectively present findings and recommendations to Directors
* Aid in budgeting and expenditure planning processes
* Perform financial analysis, modelling, forecasting, and reporting to identify trends, benchmarking, and to increase financial performance
* Support cost-analysis and price modelling
* Track and determine financial status by analysing actual results in comparison with forecasts
* Work closely with the Finance team to continuously improve and refine processes
What we are looking for:
Candidates with previous experience working in an accounting/finance role, ideally as a Financial analyst, are likely to have the skills and experience required for this role. We are also looking for:
* Relevant qualifications in accounting, business or finance
* Experience SAGE and XERO
* Excellent numeracy skills
* Advanced IT skills
* Takes initiative for their own work within an understood framework of scope and authority
* Deals with all matters promptly, professionally and effectively to meet critical deadlines
* Makes effective use of time in order to carry out tasks to the appropriate standard
* Being able to work under pressure and to prioritise workflow
* Generate new ideas/initiatives to promote efficiency or improve processes
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
