Join our fast-growing, dynamic company anywhere in Europe For our UK branches, we are looking for a: Sales Associate Location: National location, any of the UK branches: Brigg, Warrington, Bridgend, Bathgate Job Description: The primary goal for this position is to handle all reactive customer requests in the branch. The Sales associate serves as a direct point of contact for customers which call/mail (incl. website form) the branch to place orders (primary opportunities). The Sales associate will be responsible for the full opportunity management process, including, but not limited to the following activities: Understand customer request (challenge) Look for opportunities to upsell and cross-sell other products Hand-over to Outside Sales Representative or Strategic Account Manager when opportunity becomes advanced or complex Complete questionnaire (incl. chemical compatibility check) Create Quote Create job package for handover to operations (IOF) After service / back office (AR aging) Recognize additional sales opportunities with the customer and signal them to the sales organization Support the sales team with outbound calling, in case of: Illness or long-term absence of the Inside Sales Representative Specific campaigns Log relevant data and maintain local customer database (Salesforce.com, Rentalman) Assist the sales team with upfront specified tasks for large active accounts or complex projects Joined visits with OSR to maintain customer relations on demand Your profile: Bachelor's Degree in finance, management, economics or engineering (desired) Proven track record in customer service support by phone, preferably in an industrial environment Experience in the (specialty) equipment rental industry is preferred Affinity with technology Excellent computer skills (MS Office, CRM and online systems) Flexible personality with a hands-on mentality Being aware of safety hazards & environmental impacts and taking responsibility for avoiding and eliminating them About us United Rentals® UK Ltd, is the industry leader in fluid solutions, providing cost effective rental products for pumping, storing handling liquids and providing power.
