Our client, a reputable name in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Workshop Operative to join their team in Winchester on a temp to perm basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product finishing, including brass polishing, chemical finishing (bronzing), and spray painting
2. Assembly tasks such as assembling electronics
3. Operating machining tools, such as pillar drills, lathes, and various hand tools
4. Performing bonding activities, including welding and soldering
Job Requirements:
1. Understanding of metal finishing processes
2. Experience in product assembly and operating workshop machinery
3. Solid grasp of bonding techniques like welding and soldering
4. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
5. Willingness to undergo training to broaden skillset
6. Ability to work collaboratively with workshop team leaders and the production manager
