My client is a world leader in the manufacture of specialist household furniture products and is well established, with over 25 years of experience. This highly respected manufacturer is looking to expand its engineering capacity and is adding to the engineering knowledge already within their current team. The site in Hull employs over 100 people and a turnover more than £10 million, this is a fantastic opportunity to join an extremely secure company, within a forward thinking group.
Key Skills
* Apprentice Trained in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* Experience of Automated CNC or Wood Working Machinery
* Understanding of PPM Systems within Manufacturing
The Role
The ideal candidate will come from an electrical or mechanical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with either bias (but have some basic multi-skilling) and have PPM and TPM manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. If you have worked on automated heavy machinery it would be advantageous. Also, able and willing to work on fabrication, welding, CNC & wood working machinery, gearboxes, motors, diesel pumps, general mechanical work, including sprinkler systems and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of development on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
