To promote the added value of occupational therapy and act as an ambassador for the profession within the team. To assist in the co-ordination and delivery of CBT-based brief psychological interventions (BPIs) within the team. Provide leadership to junior staff (Support Workers) through clinical supervision and appraisal. Provide guidance and/or leadership to qualified and unqualified staff from other disciplines. Undertake the supervision of occupational therapy students on practice placements. Maintain standards of occupational therapy practice as directed by the Trust AHP Lead in accordance with HCPC and COT standards. Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of occupational therapy services within a designated area, holding responsibility for defined projects. To assist in the coordination and delivery of psychoeducational groups.
