Job Purpose:
Accountable to the Senior Administration Assistant for the day-to-day running of the invoicing functionality of the customs department, ensuring procedures are followed and customer satisfaction is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Raising Invoices - Duty/VAT whilst costing for the same keeping Log up to date / Monthly invoices for Customs Clearances and Ad Hoc charges.
2. Ensure all invoices are sent out correct and in a timely manner.
3. Ensure procedures are followed at all times.
4. Check Ledger for payments, chase down unpaid invoices.
5. Checking and passing supplier invoices in a timely manner in DMR/CIMS, raised Cheque Requisitions for immediate payments.
6. Setting up new accounts during the onboarding process.
7. T1 Management – chasing down unclosed and liaising with HMRC.
8. Demonstrate & generate enthusiasm.
9. Interpersonally effective.
10. Identify problems early & respond in a timely fashion.
11. Work with the team to find solutions.
External Relationships:
Identify and establish relationships with key suppliers and clients.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years admin experience.
* Excellent telephone manner.
