Job Purpose:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will work in partnership and report into the Talent Acquisition Manager and Store Managers to provide a comprehensive recruitment service focusing on all hourly paid store team roles. You will be part of the specialist function contributing to the development and delivery of the Talent Acquisition strategy for the business.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Support the Talent Manager with the recruitment of all store team roles.
2. Advertise all vacancies internally & externally.
3. Utilise the Applicant Tracking System to manage candidates through the recruitment process to deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
4. Conduct and arrange telephone or video interviews for shortlisted candidates, schedule interviews/assessment centres.
5. Direct source for candidates and represent and 'sell' the opportunities and employer brand with passion and conviction through social platforms and careers website, working closely with third parties.
6. Support the new store strategy working with third parties to ensure we are fully recruited pre-merchandising.
7. Support the BU strategy of wage control through headcount and salary benchmarking.
8. Manage the candidate journey by being the point of contact, answering any candidate queries that come into recruitment mailboxes and escalating when required.
9. Check the application process to ensure it is working effectively for candidates to apply for our roles.
10. Ensure adherence to employer brand guidelines and maintain the candidate experience throughout their journey from application to onboarding.
11. Maintain positive relationships with all key stakeholders for areas of responsibility through delivery of service levels.
12. Produce monthly activity reports on KPIs of time to fill, fill rate, and ROI of social platforms used.
13. Ensure all offers and contracts sent are correct and delivered in a timely manner.
14. Adhere to all employment legislation and internal compliance to protect candidates and the business.
Person Specification:
1. Genuine interest in joining an in-house recruitment team.
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and communicate with a number of managers at all levels.
3. Excellent attention to detail.
4. Enjoy working with systems and understanding of data.
5. Passion for the brand and understanding of what makes a great Savers employee at all levels.
