On a typical day, you will be completing a variety of tasks to support the team. This includes: Assisting with the preparation, analysis and submission for review a wide range of financial regulatory and statistical reports in a timely manner. Assisting with the preparation of variance analysis and commentaries on key returns and escalate findings and recommendations to the Line Manager Providing support in the execution of the reporting processes and apply financial controls in accordance with policies and documented processes. Supporting the production the monthly mortgage exposure values for key stakeholders. Working towards gaining an understanding about the commercial and risk aspects of the banking business model. What to expect from an OSB Apprenticeship: A permanent contract Professional Apprenticeship Qualification-AAT Level 3, with an established training provider, supporting you all the way A buddy to help you navigate your first steps in your financial services career £14,000 starting salary 5% annual performance related discretionary bonus A Monday – Friday, 9-5 job (no weekend working) A great benefits package including; 28 days holiday, a bonus scheme and lots of added extras on Perkbox (cheap cinema tickets, discount codes for eating out and high street stores, free phone insurance) We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below: An inquisitive mind Good communication skills and a willingness to learn the department from the ground up Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
