Its more than 400 Postdoctoral Research students (PGR) are an integral part of the Faculty’s research environment, contributing to its vitality and innovative outlook. The Faculty Research Grants Team is a specialist grants team within the Faculty Office responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of externally grants. Working collaboratively, the team is responsible for providing a positive administrative experience for researchers in applying for new grants and delivering their grant objectives for existing grants within the scope of funder and university policies.About the roleThe purpose of the role is to administer processes linked to the lifecycle of research grants for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, from application to final reporting. Working as part of a specialist grant management team situated in the Faculty Office, the role holder will collaborate closely with principal investigators and will be responsible for providing cradle to grave support for all externally funded research grant activity. The postholder will liaise with Research, Management & Innovation Directorate (RMID) staff and other College Research Management teams to ensure effective delivery of a seamless research grant support service with the aim to ensure a successful and funder compliant project delivery. This is a full time, and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 31/05/2026.
