Toll Bar Primary School are delighted to be in a position to offer a suitably qualified teacher with extensive knowledge of the National Curriculum a role in our school – experienced and Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply.
We are looking for a candidate with the drive, passion and commitment to provide high quality inclusive education at Toll Bar Primary School. In return we would be able to provide extensive career progression and a supportive professional environment. There would be an extensive ECT programme or a curriculum leadership role with clear career progression for more experienced teachers.
The role of teacher will provide an exciting challenge where the right candidate can make a significant difference to the pupils’ lives at Toll Bar Primary School. We are looking for a person who will be the champion our pupils ensuring they reach their maximum potential in all aspects of their lives. The right candidate must value the whole curriculum including experiences outside the school environment and school day. Our pupils deserve a team who go the extra mile.
The right candidate must be an excellent teacher able to demonstrate strong inclusive practice with high expectations. Experience of teaching in EYFS is essential.
The successful candidate will:
• Be an excellent class teacher who will demonstrate and promote creative and innovative teaching and assessment strategies to meet the needs of all pupils;
• Be able to demonstrate and keep track of, consistently good pupil progress;
• Have an excellent understanding of how children learn;
• Motivate and inspire children;
• Have experience of teaching EYFS;
• Have excellent knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum;
• Strong EYFS teaching skills;
• Have high expectations of themselves and others;
• Be committed to inclusion and equality of opportunity;
• Forge positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents;
• Be well organised;
• Provide a creative and vibrant learning environment that supports children’s learning;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to work as part of a team with teaching and support staff;
• A good sense of humour;
• Actively seek new ideas and be motivated to self-improve including actively seeking additional learning.
