This is a pivotal role in the SME banking strategy and business delivery team, responsible for supporting the delivery of the SME banking strategy and in helping deliver the commercial plan. This role will help support the prioritisation and development of the commercial roadmap. The role will report directly to the Head of SME strategy and business delivery.
Key Accountabilities:
* Support ongoing activities and help to drive forward and execute long-term strategy development for the SME segment.
* Help support and execute strategic objectives set by the Head of SME strategy and business delivery.
* Support with ad-hoc analysis, projects, and problem solving.
* Help to support the commercial plan and track progress against it.
* Engage effectively with key parts of the Bank including Product/Tech, Finance, Marketing, Operation, Legal, 2nd and 3rd line.
* Explore, evaluate, and recommend strategies and tactics to support strategic objectives and innovate the business/commercial model.
* Evaluate commercial opportunities.
* Evolve the commercial model.
* Conduct market research and analysis.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience in Banking/Financial Services, particularly Business/SME banking experience.
* Some experience and understanding of control and regulatory environments.
* Experience of forming and creating strategic and tactical plans in a commercial environment.
* Business acumen and commercial awareness.
* Strategic thinking and planning.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Drive for results.
* Good understanding of modern technology platforms.
* Team player - strong on stakeholder collaboration.
