Accounts Assistant - Insurance Sector / City of London / £30,000 - £40,000
Overview:
My client, a leading specialist insurance and reinsurance company based in the city, are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will report directly into the Finance Manager.
Role & Responsibilities:
Ensure reporting and accounts are captured correctly
Perform reconciliations
Processing of underwriting, premium, and claims transactions under delegated authority agreements
Liaise with underwriters, brokers, cover holders and communicate with all stakeholders
Produce, monitor and complete Bordereaux oversight and MI reports
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Essential Skills & Experience:
2+ years experience working within Accounts
Insurance industry experience
Experience in the Lloyd’s and London market
Good Microsoft Excel skills
Great communications skills and attention to detail
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Business, Economics or a related field
Package:
Salary dependent on experience, ranging between £30,000 - £40,000
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Office based 4 days per week, WFH 1 day per week
