Job Description As a Cloud Solution Architect in the A-Team, you will have exposure to and involvement with many Oracle products and Oracle Teams. You will engage in a variety of customer facing activities such as collaborating with sales teams to win deals, architecting cross-cloud solutions, building POCs and demo's, advising customers, and resolving complex technical issues affecting customers. You will be working in a global team and will typically be involved in multiple engagements at the same time providing you a rapid exposure to varied customer landscape. Many of these engagements will be of high-visibility and high-strategic value, requiring A-Team involvement due to the complexity of the required solution, and early stage nature of the products involved. You will be required to code and will be required to partner with customers, SIs, support, and engineering. You will also be required to capture best practices and create collateral such as whitepapers, blogs/vlogs and code assets. In conjunction with the above, you will work closely with engineering and product management teams, bringing typical customer challenges from the field for discussion and highlight evolving market trends that products need to address. Since you will deal with cutting edge products, often in their beta or early releases, you will be required to collaborate with engineering on a regular basis providing constant feedback. You will inherit the reputation of a highly respected team and engineering will treat you as one of their key conduits to customers and partners. At times you will also be required to code for special internal projects. You will also be able to directly engage in producing business insights to senior leadership with the intent of informing and guiding strategy and operational procedures. Career Level - IC5 Responsibilities You will work within a team that focuses on leveraging Oracle technology and application to deliver more value to our broad customer base. You will work on solutions that involve modern cloud offerings in conjunction with Oracle SaaS Cloud applications including ERP, SCM, HCM, Sales and Marketing. For example, you will architect distributed applications that allow customers to extend Oracle SaaS applications using Integration, extensions and modern UI's, integrate them in Hybrid Clouds and on-premises applications and unlock new possibilities using AI/ML, Cloud Native technology, MicroServices and a whole host of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services and offerings. You will operate across SaaS Pillars, across lines of business and across technology disciplines. You will also have the opportunity to innovate, broaden and deepen knowledge and engage in research projects. Desired Skills and Capabilities Must Haves: - Fusion SaaS implementation/operational/technical experience across Oracle SaaS Pillars (SCM, ERP, HCM, CX). - Detailed Oracle HCM specific domain experience - Integration methodologies and techniques with Oracle products - Prior experience in customer-facing roles - Working with executives - Proven ability to produce blogs/whitepapers/technical papers and documentation - Demonstrable continuous personal development Would be a plus: - Prior experience in Product Engineering roles. - HCM functional knowledge - Exposure to or recent work in the Healthcare sector - Functional knowledge of any Oracle SaaS pillar - Practical knowledge of Cloud Security and Cloud Networking. - Current Oracle Technical Certifications. - Working knowledge of Oracle PaaS/IaaS offerings. - Knowledge of any Non-Oracle Enterprise Applications (SaaS or On-Premises). - Coding Experience - Programming languages (Java preferred), Scripting (Java Script, PHP, Python), Integration skills (REST, SOAP, and Integration tools), and SQL. - Good foundational or working knowledge of GenAI, RAG, LLM's & AI agents in enterprise applications. - Understanding of Open Source in solutions including coding implications is a plus. - Hands-on experience working with at least one of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar cloud providers. - Problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and analyze options/hypotheses objectively, apply industry-leading practices, and facilitate negotiations/discussions involving groups of diverse stakeholders. - You will have a natural inclination to coach - through training, public forums, blogs, and conferences. - Ability to clearly communicate thoughts - verbal and written. - Be able to collaborate with high caliber peers and a variety of teams and groups in a highly dynamic environment. - Build networks amongst Developers, Product Managers, Senior Leaders, Pre-Sales, Consulting, Documentation, QA and others. - Good presentation skills with high degree of comfort in communicating with Developers, Architects, Senior Leadership and Executive Management. - Self-starting individual with demonstrated ability to adapt to and embrace new technology. - The ideal candidate will understand the need to balance continuous personal development and non-work life with the pressures of delivery.
