Role Overview: As a CNC Miller, you will primarily be involved in the manufacture of plastic injection mould tools, as well as jigs, fixtures, and gauges using Hurco and Mikron milling machines. Key Responsibilities: Programming and Operation: Efficiently program and operate Hurco CNC machines, ensuring high-quality outputs within set deadlines. Team Collaboration: Work both independently and as part of the CNC section team to meet production goals. Maintenance: Perform regular machine maintenance and uphold safety standards. Quality Assurance: Check finished work meticulously and adhere to engineering drawings and technical instructions. Communication: Liaise with toolmakers, CAD/CAM programmers, and designers to address and resolve issues. Proactive Problem-Solving: Investigate root causes of issues and communicate findings to improve future processes. What We're Looking For: Proven experience with Hurco CNC machines. Ability to work on your initiative and within a team. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical instructions. Excellent verbal communication skills. Commitment to maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety. Ability to work to high tolerances and maintain 5S standards.
