Job Title: Secondary SEN Tutor\n\nLocation:\n\nSouth East England, Berkshire, Reading\n\nJob Type:\n\nTemporary, Part-Time hours\n\nSalary:\n\n£20 - £30 Per hour\n\nJob Duties:\n\n1. Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).\n\n2. Develop and implement individualised education plans based on students' needs and abilities.\n\n3.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.\n\n4. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting tutoring strategies as necessary.\n\n5. Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or other relevant qualification\n\n- Experience working with students with SEN\n\n- Knowledge of relevant SEN legislation and best practises\n\nEducation:\n\n- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field\n\nExperience:\n\n- Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN\n\nKnowledge and Skills:\n\n- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions\n\n- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\n\n- Ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n- Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs (SEN)\n\n- Experience with assessment and evaluation of SEN students\n\nWorking Conditions:\n\n- Part-time hours, flexible schedule\n\n- Work may involve travel to different locations within Berkshire\n\n- Collaborative work environment with other educators and professionals in the field\n\nAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
