We are dedicated to inspiring the next generation through quality tutoring services. Randstad tutors & intervention specialists play a crucial role in fostering a love of learning, building self-confidence, and developing essential lifelong skills in children and young people.
We're looking for individuals who can teach in any of the following areas:
* Primary/secondary and post-16 Maths, English and Science.
* Qualified and experienced ESOL tutors to work with students who require support with the English language, for example, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.
* SEND Support - Tailored to pupil's current EHCP or specific learning needs.
* Mentoring & Pastoral Support - Supporting academic engagement and overcoming barriers to learning.
When you work with Randstad as a tutor, we ensure you get the work that suits you best. Whether you want just a few hours a week to fit around your current schedule or to work 30 hours per week, we can help. As a Randstad Tutor, you'll enjoy:
* Flexibility to manage your schedule and workload to align with your lifestyle
* Competitive hourly pay rates vary depending on whether you are working on online tuition or in person, supporting young people with more complex needs
* Opportunities to deliver tuition during school holidays to increase your earning potential
* Access to a CPD portal with free e-learning training modules
* Unlimited access to our online tuition delivery platform & resources
Tutors can become important to a child or young person's life. After a while tutors can build a strong, trusting relationship with children and their families/carers and play a key role in providing support. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing personalised lesson plans based on each student's learning style
* Assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and recording achievement levels using our internal reporting system
* Delivering engaging sessions that cater to a variety of learning styles
* Achieving measurable outcomes from each session to assess impact
* Collaborating with educational and care stakeholders to ensure student support
* Adhering to KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines.
Desired experience includes:
* Previous experience tutoring one-to-one or small groups of students needing additional educational or pastoral support
* Experience working in inclusion units, special settings, or alternative provisions
* Familiarity with supporting students academically and pastorally with a focus on social, emotional and mental health support, or looked-after children.
