Role:
We are looking for a Test Analyst to join our existing Test team. The successful candidate will work with our IT team, vendors, developers and existing testers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
As part of the Test Team, you will be expected to support various business and development workstreams in an Agile/DevOps delivery environment to ensure quality assurance of the SW applications and services. You will also be required to support any go live events to ensure products and services are delivered correctly and assist with any issue analysis and resolution that may occur.
The team is self-governed, and we encourage contribution of ideas to enhance the software delivery and test processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ability to work with business owners and within an Agile team as part of a collaborative team to ensure Sprint goals are achieved.
* Be involved in user story reviews ahead of test preparation and sprint executions.
* Be responsible for planning, writing and creating manual test scripts.
* Support automation scripting by creating new scripts and maintaining scripts.
* Develop, maintain and execute regression scripts for new and existing application suites.
* Record test results, identify and analyse anomalies and where necessary raise and track defects with the business and development team.
* Ensure testing results are captured and test reports are shared with the respective stakeholders.
* Assist with the provision of time and effort estimates for testing activities during a sprint planning.
* Need to be proactive, result oriented, good oral and written communication and good team player.
* Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
* Work with business stakeholders to ensure issues and risks are communicated and understood prior to go live events.
Qualifications / Experience:
* Advanced ISTQB certification (Mandatory)
Essential Skills:
* Experienced with testing applications that utilise multiple web portals and backend databases.
* Experienced with Automation utilising Leapworks.
* Understanding of automation and its application to web UI’s.
* Experience with Azure / Azure DevOps / JIRA.
* Understanding of quality assurance and testing.
* Experienced in writing manual test scenarios, cases/scripts to desired levels of details.
* Understanding of the Agile Defect Management Process.
* Experienced in Microsoft Teams & Office 365 applications.
* Understanding of Agile development and delivery concepts.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Able to work within a distributed multi-sited delivery team.
* Experienced with Automation preferably Leapworks or selenium.
* Able to work using own initiative to ensure work is progressed with minimal guidance.
Can do attitude.
Non-Essential Skills:
* Experience with working with VOLTI4 or Workforce products.
* Experience with Eclipse IDE.
* Experience with API testing.
* Experienced with SQL.
* Understanding of STLC, smoke testing, regression testing.
* Experience in Web and Device testing (mobile and cross browser).
* Experienced with using TestRail for test management.
* Basic scripting skills in Java.
