What is the job role?
This is a new role, created to support the delivery of our Coventry Connects and Digital Workplace programmes of work. Our One Coventry Values underpin both programmes with the aim of delivering better, cheaper services to customers (Coventry Connects) and within the Council (Digital Workplace) through the re-design of services around the capabilities the internet and digital technology provides.
Reporting to the Digital Delivery Manager, the post holder will manage a team of 4 Digital Business Analysts supporting the delivery of both programmes.
You will lead the business analysis work across the programmes and be seen as a go-to professional in the Digital Delivery Team.
The role will require you to work flexibly with a minimum of 40% of your time on site in Coventry.
Who are we looking for?
Holding the British Computer Society International Diploma in Business Analysis or an equivalent qualification in business analysis, your experience will ideally have been gained from working in large, multi-disciplined, complex organisations.
You will have significant experience working in a Digital Business Analysis environment with an understanding of how effective digital developments add value to an organisation and the importance of user centred design.
You will be able to build and maintain critical working relationships and use your excellent communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels across the Council and with our partners, demonstrating customer awareness and customer care throughout.
You have experience in developing and managing staff, setting priorities, monitoring and applying standards of performance and aligning working practices and behaviours to model the organisational values.
We value and respect the diversity of our team and aim to recruit a workforce which reflects our diverse communities. Our workforce data shows that women are under-represented in our team and encourage applicants from this background to apply. This does not prevent individuals with other protected characteristics as set out within the Equality Act from applying for this post.
