About The Role
Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a Risk Business Partner to join our team in Bristol on a 12-month FTC. At MO, robust risk management is fundamental to the successful and sustainable operation of our business. As the challenges we encounter become increasingly complex and the risk landscape continually evolves, our approach to risk management is crucial for achieving MO’s strategic objectives.
To support this, we have a dedicated Risk Management function, built on a dynamic Business Partnering (BP) model.
Risk Business Partners play a pivotal role in integrating risk management into the strategic and operational framework of the business. They collaborate closely with senior leaders across the organisation, ensuring that risk management principles are embedded into daily activities to support the attainment of strategic goals. These partners develop a deep understanding of the areas they support, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders is fundamental to our approach.
The role of the BP includes assisting the business in identifying risks and opportunities, recommending potential control enhancements, raising risk awareness, and embedding MO’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
BPs must be pragmatic and innovative, ensuring that risk-taking is conducted in a controlled manner. Their expertise helps navigate complex risk landscapes, enhancing the organisation’s resilience and ability to achieve its strategic objectives.
The work performed by the Risk Business Partners is essential in aligning the Executive and Board on MO’s most significant areas of enterprise risk and opportunity. This alignment supports informed, risk-based decision-making and provides assurance regarding MO’s risk environment.
