Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role within the Adults Community Mental Health Team.
Location:Tameside
Pay Rate:£26per hour (assignment rate)
Working hours:Core hours are 9am-5pm Monday - Friday, although flexibility around start & finish times is available. E.g., 8am-6pm for 4 days a week, 8am-4pm, 9am-6pm etc. Part time considered.
Main Duties:
* Be responsible for the co-ordination, commissioning and personal delivery of individual packages of care for a caseload of service users within our secondary service.
* Undertake initial assessments of new referrals to the service.
* Act as shift coordinator when on the rota as duty worker and to deputise for the manager/deputy manager in their absence; to problem solve any issues that arise within the team and to maintain overview of quality and standards within the team.
* Supervise more junior members of staff.
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
* Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
* Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse
* NMC Registration
