The Hygiene Night Manager will be responsible for organising the cleaning schedule in conjunction with the Head of Hygiene, giving daily direction to the Hygiene Night Supervisors. The Hygiene Night Manager will report directly to the Head of Hygiene. This role is 40 hours per week. Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 22:00 – 06:00. These hours may vary on occasion. Salary Range: 36,000-40,000. Ensure hygiene operatives adhere to Health & Safety practices. Schedule cleaning tasks to ensure full compliance to daily and weekly schedules. Ensure all logs and documentation is kept up to date and audit ready. Be part of the site’s HACCP team. Delegate tasks & information to colleagues. Ensure all production equipment is cleaned to a high standard and ready for startup. Assist in training Hygiene operatives in all areas of the hygiene activities. Ensure the hygiene KPI targets are met. Complete performance reviews regularly and continuously develop and improve skills. Manage holidays to ensure fully staffed at all times. Liaise with other departments as required, e.g. engineering, planning, operations. Previous hygiene experience in a manufacturing environment is essential. Proven track record of managing a team is essential. Quality, chemical and hygiene training is essential. Good organisational skills and a strong work ethic. Teamwork and positive interpersonal skills. An eye for detail, quality focused and results orientated. Flexibility to work both day and evening shifts and to be available to work overtime if required.
