The Group was established in 2020 to consolidate various existing business interests spanning multiple sectors including Retail (Eros Retail), Hospitality, Property, Cleaning Hygiene & Business Supplies (Disruptive Brands), and Online and Frozen Drinks (Skwishee). We are currently recruiting for a Restaurant General Manager as we add Pizza Hut to our business portfolio.
Reports To: Principal Operator/Area Manager
Position Overview: Leading the restaurant management team and team members, you help direct the daily operations of an entire restaurant. Using business expertise and management skills, you keep both your team and your customers happy.
Functional Responsibilities:
1. Manage all FOH and BOH operations and equipment maintenance.
2. Ensure adherence to all safety, sanitation, and security standards and create action plans for improvement as needed.
3. Maintain the financial well-being of the operation by meeting food cost and labour goals.
4. Manage P&L statements following all financial control/security standards.
5. Adapt quickly to changing trends, market and environmental conditions and suitably modify store plans to meet business targets.
Leadership Responsibilities:
1. Lead with a Growth Mindset and model Smart, Heart, and Courage.
2. Set high standards for self and others.
3. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and bench planning.
4. Implement restaurant training programs for team members and management to enable them to meet the standards required, maximize performance, and realize their career potential.
5. Oversee training, development, and performance management of restaurant team.
6. Build and lead store management team and report back to the manager on performance and activities in the restaurant.

3. Build strong customer relations by engaging with all customers.
4. Demonstrate self-responsibility and a helpful, upbeat, friendly, and positive attitude at all times with restaurant team and customers.
5. Ensure positive customer experience by taking feedback from customers and resolving complaints.
Educational & Experience Requirements:
1. 3 years multi-outlet food retail or service industry experience at a supervisory/management level preferred.
2. Proven track record of On Target performance in Balanced Scorecard KPIs (or equivalent) with primary profit responsibility.
3. Certified in Leading a Restaurant (LAR).
4. Clear ITC check.
5. The person must be able to move as required between restaurants according to the needs of the business as determined by Pizza Hut from time to time.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
