SAP Consultant We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Functional Consultant to join a leading organisation based in the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and optimising SAP Solutions to ensure seamless business processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders to identify gaps, own the solution design, provide end-user training and deliver ongoing support. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SAP ECC, be able to conduct gap analyses and provide valuable insights to enhance business operations Rate - £850.00 per day to overall assignment rate of umbrella Location - Durham - twice a week onsite Duration - 6/12 Months Key Responsibilities Gap Analysis & Solution Design: Conduct comprehensive gap analysis to identify business needs and recommend SAP SD/MM solutions. Ensure solutions align with both operational and compliance requirements. Solution Ownership: Take full ownership of the SAP SD/MM solution, from initial design to post-implementation, ensuring its alignment with the company's objectives and user needs. SAP ECC Configuration & Enhancement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to configure, enhance, and optimise SAP ECC functionality, specifically within the SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) modules. End-User Training & Support: Provide detailed training and guidance to end-users on SAP SD/MM processes. Support system adoption and ensure users are comfortable and proficient with the platform. Issue Resolution & Process Improvement: Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues. Collaborate with teams to drive process improvements and resolve SAP-related challenges. Best Practice Implementation: Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and industry standards throughout the implementation and maintenance phases of the project lifecycle. Essential Skills and Qualifications Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience as an SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant, with proven success in optimizing SAP solutions. Expertise in SAP ECC: Deep understanding of SAP ECC, specifically within the SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) modules. Experience with configuration, customisation, and optimisation is crucial. Gap Analysis & Solution Design: Demonstrated ability to conduct gap analysis, recommend solutions, and own the end-to-end process for implementing those solutions. End-User Training & Support: Proven experience in providing clear, effective training to end users and ensuring smooth system adoption post-implementation. Problem-Solving & Communication: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to liaise between technical and business teams effectively. Collaboration & Independence: Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, hybrid work environment. Comfortable working across functional teams to achieve common goals.
