Randstad Education is partnering with a fantastic independent specialist school near Cambridge to find dedicated Residential Support Workers. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real impact on the lives of unique and wonderful students aged 5-19.
About the Role:
You will work in a friendly and supportive boarding environment, providing essential care and support to students with high-functioning autism. Your focus will be on creating a safe, nurturing, and homely atmosphere where each young person feels valued and cared for. You'll play a key role in developing their social, life, and independence skills.
Working Hours:
Alternating weekly early and late shifts. Early shift (45 hours): Monday 8am-4pm, Tuesday 7am-5pm, Wednesday - Friday 7am-4pm. Late shift (32 hours): Mon-Thurs 2:30pm-10:30pm Sleep-in duties and occasional waking night cover as required. Term-time only - enjoy your weekends and school holidays!
