The Vale Academy are looking to appoint an Exam Invigilator to join our academy in December 2024 on a casual as and when required basis.

Your new role
As an Examination Invigilator, under direction you will oversee and supervise examinations, ensuring guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examination papers and procedures are followed during examination sessions.

Your new school
The Vale is a successful and high achieving 11 to 18 academy which has an excellent reputation and an established trend of high student outcomes, which are consistently above those achieved nationally. Indeed, 2023 outcomes placed the academy second in the local authority for overall progress which was "above" national average at +0.32 and its attainment at 4+ and 5+ in both English and Maths was 74% and 50% respectively. Provisional results for 2024 see this trend continuing with students’ performance in English and Maths being significantly above national averages with 65% of students achieving a 5+ in both English and Mathematics.
The academy is situated in Brigg, North Lincolnshire and serves a largely rural community. Brigg itself is a historic market town on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Many of our students travel a considerable distance to school.
