Potters Independent Living is expanding, and we’re looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team across **Inverurie, Torphins, Kemnay, Kintore, Inchmarlo, Alford, Ordhead, Sauchen**, and surrounding areas. Position: Support Worker
Locations: Inverurie, Torphins, Kemnay, Kintore, Inchmarlo, Alford, Ordhead, Sauchen, and nearby areas
Hours: Part-time & Full-time (minimum 20 hours per week)
Pay:Competitive rates, based on experience
What We’re Looking For:
Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the service areas.
* Experience: Ideally, 6 months of care experience, but we also welcome those eager to learn and start a career in care.
* Driving License & Vehicle: A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential (a pool car is available temporarily).
* Right to Work: Must provide valid right-to-work documents (e.g., passport, visa).

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide person-centered care and support, assisting clients with daily living tasks, mobility, and personal care.
* Build positive, supportive relationships with clients, promoting dignity and independence.
* Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and colleagues to ensure high-quality care.
* Adhere to safeguarding standards, including undergoing a PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) check.
Availability: Minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility for various shifts.
PVG Check: Must be willing to undergo a PVG check, with no barriers to working with vulnerable people.
Desirable Skills & Qualities:
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ in Health and Social Care) are a plus.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
* A caring, empathetic, and compassionate approach.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
