You will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating lessons across the Business and Economics curriculum, preparing students for A-Levels and other relevant qualifications. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Delivery: Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and thought-provoking Business and Economics lessons, catering to A-Level students (or equivalent qualifications). Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential. Integrate current business and economic issues into your lessons, fostering critical thinking and real-world application of knowledge. Assessment and Feedback: Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform future teaching. Provide constructive and timely feedback to help students improve their understanding and performance. Student Progress and Support: Develop positive relationships with students, fostering their confidence and motivation in Business and Economics. Identify and address individual student needs, providing targeted support and guidance. Enrichment and Extracurricular Activities: Contribute to and potentially lead extracurricular activities related to Business and Economics (e.g., business competitions, guest speaker events, company visits). Professional Development: Remain up-to-date with current trends and best practices in Business and Economics education. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified Business and Economics teacher with a minimum of 3 years' successful teaching experience at A-Level (or equivalent) level.
