Job Title: Admin Officer (Temporary - Government Contract) Location: HMP Bullingdon, Bicester Contract: 6 months (with the possibility of extension) Hours: 37 hours per week Pay Rate: £11.59 per hour Working Pattern: Hybrid (after training) About the Role: Brook Street is recruiting an Admin Officer on behalf of our government client. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience within the public sector in a key administrative role supporting contract management operations. Key Responsibilities: Support efficient and effective contract administration for the region. Assist Contract Administration Managers (CAMs) and Area Property Operations Managers (APOMs) with monitoring work completion and financial records. Maintain contract-related documentation, including task orders and risk logs. Provide secretarial support, including minute-taking and agenda distribution. Collate and record financial information on instructed work. Act as the main point of contact for team communications. Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting. Skills & Experience Required: Strong organisational skills with the ability to work accurately under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Good analytical and IT skills (experience with cloud-based systems & Excel preferred). Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Commercial and financial awareness (training provided).
