One in the North and one in the South of Lancashire. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated team member who has an inclusive approach to special educational needs and wants to help the children and young people of Lancashire achieve their full potential in education, learning and future employment. You will be able to support the council to fulfil its statutory duties in relation to children and young people with special educational needs. SEND Case Managers will support in the compliance of legislation and government guidance in meeting the educational, health and social care needs of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. SEND Case Managers will also support with the reviews for children, young people and families to ensure these are carried out within statutory timescales. We work closely with other teams within the Inclusion Service and with other services in the Directorate to ensure assessment processes are coherent, comprehensive, and transparent and involve children, young people and their parents/carers.
