The opportunity
Building and maintaining client relationships is critical to what we do and plays a major part in the success of our business. Do you share our passion for building and maintaining client relationships? Are you eager to advance your career within Zurich? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are seeking an individual to take on a pivotal customer relationship role, actively working with brokers and internal colleagues to retain a panel of SME corporate clients (Sub £150k premium).
You will build, develop, and manage relationships with EBC partners. You will be responsible for the retention of a portfolio of SME corporate life and income protection schemes. You will also support Account Managers in developing relationships and articulating our proposition to an assigned portfolio.
What will you be doing?
1. Achieve retention targets through proactive engagement and relationship building with a portfolio of EBCs.
2. Take a proactive approach to retention of a SME panel of clients.
3. High volume of quote chase activity by phone, email and Teams.
4. Proactively resolve client issues and drive retention activities.
5. Deliver Added Value Service presentations to Employers and Employees by Teams or in person.
6. Support Account Manager to develop relationships with EBCs to deliver required outcomes for customers and Zurich Corporate Risk.
7. Ensure internal management information system, Z-Horizon, is updated regularly.
8. Monitor performance against plans and look for opportunities to improve and adapt current processes.
Who are we looking for?
It is essential that you have good relationship and account management skills and ideally you will have experience of an account management or client facing role in the group risk market, but this isn’t essential. You will be working with a large base of EBC partners so strong planning and organisational skills are a must. Strong commercial acumen and negotiating skills are also key to this role.
You will need to be self-motivated, have the ability to problem solve and manage external and internal stakeholders, maintaining a high level of service. Excellent understanding of the group risk market in the UK including GR1 qualification or the desire to study towards, which will be funded by Zurich.
