Location: Broughton Astley
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Working Hours: Days, Monday to Friday

Due to continued business growth and expansion, our client is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis. Our client supplies high-end products into a number of sectors including Automotive, Electronic, and Rail. Job Responsibilities:
The main function and responsibility of the Quality Engineer is to ensure our client is meeting their QA objectives, including driving continuous improvement within the framework of ISO 9001. The successful applicant will support in quality checking products prior to their dispatch to customers.
1. Completing audits onsite, ensuring company processes are in line with ISO 9001 accreditation.
2. Regular communication with customers regarding orders and assisting them with any technical queries.
3. Reading and interpreting technical drawings to assist customers with their requirements and suggesting the most appropriate product.
4. Taking receipt and quality checking inbound products before arranging the right product to be delivered to customers.
5. Liaising with both internal departments and external customers and suppliers regarding products and quality.
6. Completing quality checks of products.
Technical Knowledge / Qualifications:
1. Minimum 3 years' experience within a Quality Engineer role is essential.
2. Previous experience within the manufacturing/engineering sectors is essential.
3. Previous experience dealing with customers and suppliers is essential.
4. Must have an understanding of process capability, cp & cpk.
5. Must have core tool knowledge, SPC, PPAP, MSA, FMEA.
6. Previous experience in internal auditing; an auditing qualification is desirable.
7. Previous experience completing internal and customer audits to ISO 9001 standards.
8. Previous experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers, electronic calipers, shadowgraphs, etc.
9. Proficient with MS Office packages.
10. Must be a strong communicator who can communicate at all levels.
