Project Accountant - Finance Business Partner
Global Payments financial services fintech
City of London location with 3 days a week in office
The role involves owning and modelling £15 Million of cost across multiple technology re-platforming streams to harmonize their payment platforms.
Partner with project teams to provide financial insight and guidance (e.g. to programme directors, financial controllers by multiple regions and countries, IT developers)
Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide recommendations through savvy use of Excel Financial Modelling (to build into a more operationalized view - month by month)
Prepare and present accurate project budgets and forecasts
Identify and implement cost-saving measures and post-implementation they will bill customers/merchants
Billing re-charges - build a new approach to different regions going forward
Monitor project expenditure and perform variance analysisProfile

A successful Project Finance Business Partner should have:
A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Econometrics, or a related field
Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA, MBA, or equivalent)
Knowledge of project accounting and modelling project financials
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience in financial planning and analysis
Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced ExcelJob Offer

An estimated salary range of £75,000 - £90,000 per annum
