Role: Accounts Assistant / Business Trainee
Location: Edenbridge, Driver required.
Schedule: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, 30min break.
Salary: £24,000 per annum

Are you looking for a trainee based role within business/accounts? Our client is seeking a skilled individual to join their dynamic team in Edenbridge. If you have a proactive and helpful approach and are interested in working within an accounts/finance based role with excellent attention to detail, this could be the role for you!
You will carry out basic accounting and administration based duties and work within a busy team of 3. Training will be provided, but an interest or desire to work within a business/accounts role is essential.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor an inbox in Microsoft Outlook, promptly responding to queries and escalating any late payments to the department manager.
* Chase customers for invoice payments via email and telephone, maintaining a positive and professional manner.
* Conduct data entry onto Sage accounting software, ensuring information is accurately recorded.
* Provide support to the employee expense controller, accounts administrator, and sales administrator.
* Prepare invoices using Sage accounting software and submit them to clients in a timely manner (training provided).
* Assist with the management of the invoice ageing report, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Manage employee timesheets, maintaining accurate records of hours worked.
* Attend meetings with the wider company team, contributing your expertise and insights.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook (Knowledge of Sage is an advantage but training will be provided).
* Strong educational background - Degree or equivalent.
* Excellent telephone manner, with strong communication skills.
* Comfortable using computer software for data entry purposes.
* Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
* Proactive and helpful approach, always willing to go the extra mile.
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong multitasking abilities, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Due to location, you must be a driver with own transport.
