Role Description Allianz has a new opportunity for a Commercial Business Owner, this is a hybrid role working from any of our UK Offices Salary Circa £60,000 This is part of a growing team within the Commercial Strategy and Customer Experience division. Our purpose and goal are to drive strategic coherence and foster progressive change in the commercial business. This newly formed department offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with colleagues across our organization. As our Commercial Business Owner, you will ensure business and change initiatives are identified, assessed for value, and successfully delivered across Allianz Commercial; with a clear focus on customer and colleague outcomes. The Commercial Business Owner also creates a bridge between projects and implementation and typically focuses on stakeholder management and the delivery of change into BAU, including changes to business processes, systems and technology and job roles and responsibilities Key Accountabilities Identifies, manages and co-ordinates improvement activity to ensure high levels of adoption and the realisation of the anticipate business benefits. Analyses, identifies and where appropriate mitigates the operational impact of the planned change through measures such as; effective transition planning, ensuring the implementation is resourced/scheduled, and training and communications. Thus, ensuring successfully embedding new capability or processes within the business unit. Supports the development of the roll out/implementation plans and supports the business to embed capability. Support all change, helping to build all the requirements across the end-to-end business functions. Works closely with the Product/Delivery teams during the design phase. Prior to launch, they validate that the service meets the expected customer/business outcomes. ‘Gatekeepers’ of change requests - responsible for triaging change requests. Provides business requirements and works closely with the LLT (Product Owners) during the design phase. Prior to launch, they validate that the service meets the expected business outcomes. Systems Thinking - Involved in the work and ST interventions, providing support to stakeholder. Essential Skills Strong collaborator, with excellent communication skills and an ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation. Excellent organisational, negotiation and influencing skills Structured and organized approach towards work, with a strong focus on attention to detail. Ability to multitask, balance a varied workload and prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines. Proven experience analysing complex information and drawing appropriate conclusions, thinking creatively to further drive results. High level researching and analytical skills. Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of the UK Insurance Market. Experience of working across different functions would be preferable. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Experience of building and managing senior stakeholder relationships. Experience of project management and delivering Record of showing strong political awareness, flexibility in the face of shifting workloads, and using own initiative to ensure work is delivered beyond the role’s requirements.
