The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families. Main duties of the job All applicants must be a Registered Nurse, with recent experience at Band 5 and meet the Band 6 Job Description person specification. Experience in both pathways is essential for this Senior Nursing post holder. The position involves working as an Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse on ARRIVALS Ward Applicants will also be required to undertake Mentorship of Student Nurses and preceptorship of newly qualified nurses whilst assisting the ward sister in managing ARRIVALS Ward, and ensuring that the Fundamentals of Care are maintained to a high standard. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
